Application & Technical Information

Concrete Preparation:
Prepare the concrete using a high-pressure cleaner to prepare the surface. If needed, use a diluted surfactant to de-grease the surface to remove any grease and oil. ensure all degreasing agent is removed and allow the surface to dry completely before sealing.

Application:
IMPORTANT:
It is important to apply a small test area of sealer to ensure the sealer does not react with any previous sealers or chemicals which have been applied to the surface.
For non-porous surfaces dilute first coat of Premium Exposed Aggregate Sealer with Peninsula Products Thinners at a 50:50 ratio. This will provide better substrate wetting and improved bonding. b) Use a microfiber roller for application. Remaining coats may be applied un-diluted. 2-3 coats are recommend for most exposed aggregate surfaces.

Non-skid Application:
Peninsula Products Non-Skid Slip Resistant additive can be added to the final coat. Please refer to Peninsula Products Non-skid technical datasheet for more information.
